ReplyDeleteWow Jerry, Emme, Yasmin, Samuel and Frida! What great work you've done using the Scholastic Learn From Home link. It's awesome to see all the reading and activities you have done. I'm going to go and read about squirrels now as well.
ReplyDeleteGreat reading Jerry and Emme. Ka Pai!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to do a virtual tour under the sea Yasmin!
I miss squirrels Samuel. I used to see them in parks all of the time in England but sadly we don't have them in New Zealand!
What a beautiful poster of a squirrel Frida. Well done.

Great to see so many of you checking out the Scholastic reading slide. Squirrels were a popular choice and you have found out many interesting facts and produced some wonderful posters. I like how Jackson went on a field trip to explore some rock pools after reading about rocks and minerals. I find it interesting to look at cliffs too, because you can sometimes see the different layers in them.
ReplyDeleteWhat super learning I can see happening from the children in Room 22. Rabab, I love your certificate holder. Hopefully when we get back to school, you will earn a certificate to store in it. Jerry, great experimenting with footsteps around your house. I wonder how many footsteps it takes me to walk around my house. What did you learn about the rockpools Jackson? My boys collected many craps and fish from the rockpools during lockdown. They loved observing them and releasing them again once finished. Chloe, I love your cute squirrel drawing and reading your interesting facts. Did you know that I saw squirrels when I went to London. I wonder if they would make a good pet? Yasmin, it is wonderful to see you practicing your dance. I can see some great choices in your healthy lunchbox too. What is your favourite healthy food snack? Mine is strawberries and cheese and crackers.
