Cool Cat Art

Last week, we read all about Crumpet the Cat in our big book. He invited all of the cats from his neighbourhood into his home with a big MEEOWWWWW! Then they jumped all around and made a huge mess!

We made our own crazy and cool cats to join in on Crumpet's fun. Don't you think they're awesome?!

Subtraction Tower Challenge

Hi Whanau

Today we did a subtraction challenge. We each had towers of 20 blocks and had to beat our buddies to get to zero by rolling the dice and taking that number away. It was lots of fun! Some of us even challenged ourselves even more by starting with 30 and then 60 blocks.

Thank you Mrs Madden for sending us the Subtraction Tower Challenge we loved it!

Our Class Treaty

Today Room 22 talked about how we would like our class to run. We watched the story The Rainbow Fish and then read the story The Tree Hut Treaty.

We decided that in Room 22 we would promise to always:
- Be Kind
- Sit nicely on the mat
- Make sure our room is tidy
- Listen when a teacher is talking
- Make our teacher happy
- Make new friends
- Share
- Let others join in
- Make each other happy
- Use gentle hands
- SMILE!

We are making our own Rainbow Fish to help us remember our promises.

Do you like our fish?
