Thank you to all of the students who sent me through pictures of your beautiful koru art. You have all worked hard and thought about the size, shape and colours of you koru. Some of you even added in some cool patterns. Great Job!
Your learning challenge today is from our maths slide on our distance learning slideshow, It's to set up a pretend shop. You can sell whatever you like! As a shop keeper you will need to think about what to sell, how much money it will cost your customers and how you will count your money. Have fun!
Don't forget, I will be sending your mummies and daddies a link to enter the video meeting 10 minutes before the first session begins at 10:00am and this link can also be used to access the second session at 10:30am.
I hope to see you soon in our Google Meets. Have an awesome day!
From Miss Stuhlmann
How did your first Google Meet Video Call go? Ours went really well. We had about 10 children there, our first four children shared their news and then everyone else had the confidence to share too.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember which blog I saw yesterday that has someone who had made a shop using real money too. It looked like so much fun.

I hope your first google meet went well Miss Stuhlmann. I'm sure it was nice to see some of room 22 and you will see more the rest of the week! I agree that the Koru art is amazing, they have all used such a great variety of colour and patterns. Have a fantastic day and enjoy your video calls room 22.
ReplyDeleteSetting up a shop sounds like a great activity for this rainy day Miss Stuhlmann. I wonder how many different types of shops the children will have.
ReplyDeleteGood afternoon Miss Stuhlmann. Looking forward to our catch up this afternoon and finding out how your Google meets went today. The learning challenge sounds like lots of fun. I wonder how many different types of shops you will get.
