Good Morning Room 22
Happy Monday morning! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Tell me about one thing you enjoyed doing on the weekend in the comments below (don't forget to add your name).
This morning I challenge you to work on your fine motor skills by sketching and drawing some koru. This is on the Te Reo Maori slide from our Distance Learning slideshow. You can even do one for each member of your family like this:
Tomorrow we start our first two Google Meet sessions. One at 10:00-10:30am and the second one at 10:30-11:00am. Some children have been invited to share some of their learning or something special to them. I wonder what they will share.
Check out this do's and don't's poster to make sure we are all doing the right thing on the video meetings.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
From Miss Stuhlmann
That Koru art is beautiful Miss Stuhlmann.
ReplyDeleteI bet your children can't wait to see their friends at the Google Meet videos.
From Mrs Burge
Have a wonderful day Ms Stuhlmann. Jackson P-H really enjoyed playing with his brothers and making a train track with them and then he had time to himself and played Minecraft on the computer.
ReplyDeleteBye for now.
Jackson, that sounds like lots of fun. I wonder what is your favourite train?
DeleteAva loved playing Poppit. It is a craft activity you make shapes using clay.
ReplyDeleteGreat job working on geometry Ava. You are going to be a shape superstar!
DeleteThis weekend I loved colouring in with my family and having a dance party in my lounge that was fun! From Yasmin
ReplyDeleteA dance party sounds awesome. I wonder what song you were bopping around to?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely message to start the week Miss Stuhlmann. Very exciting that Google Meets start this week. Yasmin a dance party sounds like lots of fun. Did you get dressed up? Poppit sounds like fun Mrs Mattsson.
ReplyDeleteKai ora Miss Stuhlmann and Room 22, it is lovely to visit your blog and see some of the children and parents have had time to write and tell us some of the fun things they have been doing as well as seeing the wonderful photos of Koru Art that have been shared by Elsa, Yasmin, Kayden, Rabab, Jerry, Kiyaan and Jackson. Well done.
ReplyDeleteElsa, I have a book about playing in the rain which I will give to Miss Stuhlmann to read when we get back to school.
Enjoy your Google Meets
Your koru picture is very colourful Miss Stuhlmann. I can't wait to see the koru drawn by Room 22 on the blog later in the week.
