Gosh more exciting work from Room 22. Samuel I love your koru. The background makes it 'pop' out. Kayden did you find it hard deciding how much to charge for each item? Did you sell everything? Carl I bet Grandma appreciated you helping make breakfast. Your boat is very cool. Iyra I am so impressed that you made your own money. What a clever idea. What sizes were the bills that you made? $10? 20? Well Emme you certainly have thought things through with your shop. Accessories as well. Wow. I love the boxes that they take the LOL's home. Yasmin it is so important to be connected with your culture. You always seem to be so busy at home. I am super impressed. Pai te mahi! I hope that you will share all your wonderful work with the class when school goes back.
ReplyDeleteSamuel I really like your poster about being Kind, and your Koru art is so bright. Keep shining! Kayden it must of been an interesting task setting up shop, did it have a name? Did you have lots of customers? Fantastic work helping in the kitchen Carl, that must of made you feel really good about yourself helping your grandma make breakfast. What did you make? Iyra your shop looks well stocked with lots of interesting things, what money did you make, are they notes and what amounts were they? Everyones shops look well thought out and some of you have even thought about how your customers take their purchases away with them and keep safe. We are all learning that at the moment!! What beautiful books you have got there to read Yasmin, what is your favourite fact you've learned while reading your books about your culture?
ReplyDeleteI love all of the fantastic learning that has been happening at home from the learners in Room 22. Carl that is so wonderful that you helped your grandma make breakfast. Iyra, your shop is very creative and I love the fact you even made your own money. I hope you had lots of customers from your family. Emme, I love your LOL doll shop too, you put alot of time and effort into it. Yasmin, super work for practicing your reading in Te Reo. It is great that you can share your expertise with your class when we return to school. I enjoyed looking at the photos of Elsa's ice-cream shop, Kiyaan's book shop, Jerry's cool fruit and drink shop and Jackson's shop creation too. Keep up the super learning Room 22. You rock!!
ReplyDeleteI love that you went outside and played in the rain Elsa! Keep shining bright, Mrs Daniel
ReplyDeleteWow, Room 22 had so many different shops, selling a variety of things! Was it difficult figuring out the total bill and change for your customers? It certainly looked like lots of fun and a great way to spend a rainy day. I liked Emme and Jerry's squirrel research. I come from England and we see a lot of squirrel's there. My sister has one that visits her garden every day. In Yasmin's books I can see some native birds - I hope she can share these stories with us when we return to school. Carl, you were very kind to make breakfast for your grandma and I like Samuel's idea to help clean the house. Great work Room 22!
ReplyDeleteBeing kind is really important Samuel. I'm pleased to hear that you are being kind too.
ReplyDeleteYou sell some yummy food at your shop Kayden!
Your Grandma must love it when you help her to cook Carl! Great job!
How clever making a shop and creating your own money, Iyra and Emme! Well done.
You can teach me how to pronounce some words in Te Reo Yasmin!
How much money did you make Jackson?
What a healthy shop you put together Jerry! Well done.
A book shop sounds good Kiyaan. Have you read all of the books?
I couldn't have an ice-cream shop, Elsa. I would eat all of the ice-cream before I could sell it!
